The Indy Autonomous Challenge (IAC) team explains the STEM competition is a series of challenges aimed to engage university students to advance technology that can contribute to speeding the commercialization of fully autonomous vehicles and deployments of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to increase safety and performance. RISS alumni have been core members of the team since the start of the University of Pittsburgh team in 2020.
