The Institute of Politics of the University of Pittsburgh, 25th annual Elected Officials Retreat, “Marshaling Regional Assets to Build Shared Opportunities for Growth,” focused on creating regional opportunities that bring together education, workforce development, and infrastructure investments to generate economic growth and promote economic opportunities for all Western Pennsylvania residents.  I was delighted to participate along with County Commissioners Albert “Chip” Abramovic and Mike Dulaney to explore opportunities and strengthen partnerships that will support the Venango community.

Many thanks are extended to the Institute leadership, including Mark A. Nordenberg, Samantha Balbier, and Briana Mihok, and the entire team who contribute significantly to the region and our future by facilitating this unique opportunity for regional stakeholders to share and hear diverse perspectives and work towards a common agenda.
